A growing skilled nursing organization is seeking an experienced Corporate HR Consultant to support the Chief Human Resources Officer and provide human resources guidance across multiple facilities.
This is a hands-on corporate role for an experienced HR professional who understands employment law, employee relations, compliance, and progressive discipline. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, partners effectively with facility leadership, and serves as a trusted HR resource throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CHRO to support HR operations across multiple facilities
- Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Advise leadership on progressive discipline, performance management, and corrective action
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
- Support policy development, implementation, and HR best practices
- Assist with onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Coach managers on HR matters and leadership development
- Support special HR projects and organizational initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Prior Human Resources experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare organization required
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance
- Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and progressive discipline
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
