The Role: Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter
The Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter plays a critical support role, working directly with the Foreman and Helpers to ensure the expert installation, service, and maintenance of automatic fire suppression systems across various commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities (“What You’ll Do”)
- Expert Installation & Service: Assist the Fire Sprinkler Foreman and Helpers with all phases of fire sprinkler installation, troubleshooting and repair.
- Technical Execution: Execute core tasks including threading and grooving pipe, cutting rod, hanging pipe, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret construction blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Tool Operation: Safely and effectively utilize a variety of hand and power tools essential to the trade.
- Client Communication: Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, general contractors and inspectors, representing the company with integrity and professionalism at all times.
