Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist with food safety practices by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Support kitchen operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions.
- Help with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events like banquets.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and guest requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to provide excellent guest services.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
