THE OPPORTUNITY
Tim Johnson Landscaping is looking for a Landscape Enhancement Foreman to join our growing Charlotte team. This is a field leadership role - you will lead a crew of 3-4 people executing commercial landscape enhancement work across TJL's Charlotte accounts. Think seasonal color installations, plant health programs, mulching, pruning, bed maintenance, and annuals. The kind of work where you can see the difference you made before you drive off the property.
This is not a sideline role. You will be working side-by-side with your crew every day. You will know your client properties, communicate directly with account managers and clients on site, and hold your team to the TJL standard. If that sounds like your kind of job - keep reading.
WHO YOU ARE

Passionate about plants - you can identify what you're installing and recognize when something doesn't look right
Experienced in commercial landscape enhancement: seasonal color, bed programs, plant health, pruning, mulching
Comfortable reading landscape plans and executing work orders accurately and on time
Someone who communicates professionally with clients on site - a complaint doesn't rattle you, it motivates you to fix it and follow up
Organized and on top of your paperwork - timesheets, work orders, and daily logs completed without being asked
A team player who works alongside your crew, not above them
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and direct a crew of 3-4 on landscape enhancement projects across Charlotte commercial accounts
Execute seasonal color installations, plant replacement, mulching, pruning, annuals programs, and related enhancement work
Monitor plant health and communicate concerns to the account manager before they become client issues
Manage job hours and materials against budget - know where you stand and update your manager daily
Represent TJL professionally on site: address client questions, resolve issues, follow up promptly
Complete all Aspire work orders, timesheets, and daily logs accurately and on time
Ensure your crew, equipment, and materials are prepared and staged the night before - no wasted mornings
Conduct daily safety tailgates and enforce TJL safety standards on every job
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of landscape enhancement or installation experience with hands-on crew lead or foreman responsibility
Working knowledge of commercial enhancement services: seasonal color, plant health, bed programs, pruning
Ability to identify common landscape plants and recognize basic health issues in the field
Valid NC Driver's License with a clean MVR - required
Bilingual English/Spanish - strongly preferred
Aspire or similar field management software experience - a plus
NC Pesticide Applicator's License or Landscape Contractor's License - a plus
Must pass drug screen and background check
