Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be vital in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including low voltage, high voltage, industrial electrician tasks, and control circuits involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Repair mechanical components utilizing precision measuring instruments, welding techniques (including <LOCATION> welding), and mechanical knowledge.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring proper operation of components such as cylinders, pumps, and valves.
- Conduct inspections using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis tools to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
- Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document all maintenance activities thoroughly within the CMMS system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Assist with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) system maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility.
- Support the installation of new equipment by interpreting schematics and performing necessary mechanical or electrical modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and external vendors when needed.
Skills
- Extensive experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with industrial maintenance responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and control wiring.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Skilled in welding techniques including <LOCATION> welding; capable of fabricating or repairing metal components as required.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics.
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; industrial electrician experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety compliance and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Military background or experience is considered an asset for this role due to discipline and technical training background. Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
