MIG Welder / Fabricator
Engineered Welding, Inc. is a growing custom metal fabrication company located in Anamosa, Iowa. Since 2002, we have been manufacturing high-quality welded products for OEMs and industrial customers throughout the United States.
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work. This is not repetitive production welding—you will work on a variety of custom fabrication projects including hydraulic reservoir tanks, structural weldments, machine components, and custom assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Fit and fabricate metal components
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, grinders, and drills
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work with the production team to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience using measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- TIG welding experience
- Forklift experience
- AWS certification (not required)
