Job Summary:
The Bartender/Server will take on a versatile role, balancing responsibilities behind the bar and on the restaurant floor. The ideal candidate will provide friendly and attentive service, create an exceptional experience for guests, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly paid position with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Take food and drink orders promptly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, upselling where appropriate.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tables, and dining areas.
- Restock bar supplies and ensure proper inventory levels.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to create a seamless dining and drinking experience for guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or server is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of popular beverages, mixology, and serving etiquette is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (based on local laws and regulations).
