Overview:
We are searching for candidate(s) that can drive company-owned vehicles. Company owns 150+ vehicles within our fleet and performs all vehicle repairs and maintenance in-house. Vehicles mostly include Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota pickup trucks. When a breakdown occurs, we need a reliable driver ready to perform their duties.
Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicles safely and adhere to company driving policy.
- Contact fleet drivers to obtain their location for vehicle pickups and dropoffs.
- Expected to drive anywhere from NOVA, DC, and all the way down to Richmond on some occasions.
- Take vehicles to get state inspected and emissions tested.
- Drive company vehicles home on occasions.
- Detail vehicles on a daily basis.
- Maintain repair shop cleanliness. Take out trash, sweep, assist when needed, etc.
- Keep an organized shop for technicians (i.e., tool room).
- Pickup parts from stores within and outside of town.
Additional:
- Background check and drug test is required.
- No tickets within the past three years.
- This is for a full-time position. Forty-hour work week, Monday through Friday from 7am-4pm, with the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays or before/after hour breakdowns that require the use of the flatbed tow truck.
- If you are able to operate a flatbed tow truck, that is a huge plus.
- Must be efficient with multitasking and communication.
- Tech-savvy to operate navigations and drivers apps.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
