Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to fill the role of Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and ensure that students understand the material.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Provide instruction and support to students in accordance with the established curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students as needed.
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure that all materials and resources are utilized effectively.
- Communicate with school staff and parents regarding student needs and progress when necessary.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues or concerns to school administration.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles as required.
