Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
