Bend Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (BAE) is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our overnight ER/ICU team!
We are a locally owned emergency and specialty hospital that has served Central Oregon for more than 20 years. Our technicians are an essential part of our medical team and work collaboratively with our DVM's to play an active role in delivering exceptional emergency care to our community.
Here at BAE, we value our work life balance, this overnight position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, giving you four days off each week. Please note that this position requires partial or full weekend availability. (Incentives available for full weekend availability)

What You'll Do
As an Overnight ER/ICU CVT, you'll work alongside our emergency doctors, veterinary assistants and fellow technicians to care for incoming emergencies and hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Emergency triage and patient stabilization
- Advanced nursing care for hospitalized ER/ICU patients
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Medication administration and fluid therapy
- Laboratory diagnostics
- Anesthesia monitoring and procedural support
- Emergency and critical care procedures
- Accurate medical documentation
- Compassionate client communication
- Collaboration with doctors and the nursing team during critical cases
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a technician who:
- Holds a CVT, RVT, or LVT credential or is eligible for Oregon certification
- Is available for overnight shifts with partial or full weekend availability
- Communicates well and enjoys being part of a team
- Can prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Is comfortable thinking critically and taking initiative
- Takes pride in providing excellent nursing care
- Wants to continue learning and developing their skills
Emergency experience is a plus, but it is not required.

Compensation & Benefits
$26–$33/hour depending on experience, PLUS overnight AND weekend differentials.
