Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions and cash handling efficiently
- Prepare food items according to safety standards, including basic food preparation and handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout your shift
- Operate ice cream equipment safely and effectively to support food service operations
- Manage customer orders accurately
- Process cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and transaction processing
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Food industry or restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have a flexible schedule (weekdays and weekends)
