Schedule: 10-hour shifts starting at 8:30 PM
Alternative Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rang: $85-$99/hour

Job Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for safely and accurately reviewing, verifying, preparing, and dispensing medications while monitoring patient medication therapies. The Pharmacist provides clinical drug information, identifies potential medication-related safety issues, supports optimal therapeutic outcomes, and supervises pharmacy support personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, enter, verify, and distribute medication orders accurately and efficiently.
- Review medication orders for appropriate indication, dosage, route, frequency, allergies, duplication, and potential drug interactions.
- Monitor medication therapy to ensure safety, effectiveness, and cost efficiency.
- Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to physicians and healthcare team members.
- Participate in clinical rounds and medication management activities.
- Review medication utilization reports and identify opportunities for therapy improvement.
- Perform quality assurance activities in accordance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in remote order verification and other pharmacy programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions and medication-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, licensing, accreditation, and government regulations.
- Support formulary compliance and pharmacy cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and purchasing teams regarding medication procurement and vendor selection.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and development of new pharmacy services.
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as appropriate.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy – Required
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice – Required
- All state-required pharmacist licenses and certifications – Required
- EPIC experience – Required
- Ability to work independently on night shifts and manage medication orders accurately.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of technical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Previous inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
Required Certifications
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PALS – Required
Pay: $80.00 - $99.00 per hour
