We are seeking Class A and B CDL Drivers to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). We specialize in relocating materials in the Scrap Industry with a fleet of aluminum and steel Tractor Trailer dumps, roll-offs as well as Straight Truck luggers and roll-offs. We are currently looking for a Class A or Class B Drivers to operate Straight lugger and roll-off equipment. The position available is full-time employment with overtime opportunity.
Requirements:
- Must have a class A or B CDL (must be manual)
- Must have efficient communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- At least 2 years of CDL Scrap Metal driving experience
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy semi roll-off and/or lugger
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log including any supporting documents
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Properly perform pre and post trip inspection of truck & trailer
- 8-12 hour shifts
- Weekend Rotation
- Home every night
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Previous experience in the Scrap industry or related fields
- Semi Roll-Off/Dump or Straight truck lugger and rolloff experience\
- Commercial driver's license
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to train if/when necessary
- Team Player
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn safe lugger, straight truck, semi roll-off, flatbed, dump op

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
