Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Resident Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and other destinations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults, values safety, and takes pride in providing respectful, professional service.
· Safely transport residents in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
· Assist residents with entering, exiting, transferring, and balancing as needed while maintaining their comfort and dignity.
· Inspect the vehicle before daily use and promptly report any concerns or maintenance needs.
· Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for resident transport, including cleaning the inside of the van as needed.
· Follow all resident safety, vehicle safety, and organizational policies.
· Communicate changes in a resident’s condition or behavior to the appropriate staff.
· Maintain regular attendance and reliability according to the assigned work schedule.
· Complete required training courses as assigned.
· Support the organization by performing other duties as needed.
· May be required to work during inclement weather or staffing emergencies.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
