A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized services at the middle school level in Sandy, OR. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 10 students while directly serving around 20 students under speech, communication, and autism-related services within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy to students with speech, communication, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation aligned with district and state regulations.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in part-time (20 hours per week) itinerant service provision across multiple school locations.
- Engage in required team meetings and complete administrative duties, with paid indirect hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon SLP licensure required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with speech-language pathology in school environments, particularly with autism and communication disabilities.
- Competence in teletherapy platforms and processes.
- Ability to manage caseloads and conduct case management efficiently.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of relevant IEP systems and compliance with school district requirements.
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools within the district.
