Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic massage treatments to clients in order to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being. If you are passionate about helping others and have a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure client comfort throughout the massage session
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in acute pain management techniques
- Skilled in trigger point therapy and pain management strategies
- Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational health practices
