Responsibilities

- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
- Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning of meals
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences in both casual and fine dining settings
- Assist with catering events or special meal services as needed to accommodate different occasions
Skills
- Extensive dietary department experience with knowledge of specialized dietary needs
- Proven dietary aide experience supporting meal service for diverse populations
- Strong skills in menu planning that balances nutrition, taste, and presentation
- Fine dining experience demonstrating attention to detail and high-quality service standards
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques including cooking, knife skills, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant or food industry environments with a focus on food service excellence
- Kitchen experience involving food industry standards for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Culinary experience emphasizing creativity, flavor development, and presentation skills
- Ability to perform meal preparation quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Catering experience for large groups or special events is a plus
- Serving skills that promote positive customer interactions and satisfaction
