Duties
- Lead the development and enhancement of backend systems using technologies such as.NET, C#, Java, Python, and Node.js, ensuring robust application design and implementation.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems and client applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to create engaging UI experiences utilizing React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related frameworks.
- Implement system architecture using microservices principles, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and containerization tools to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to uphold high standards of software quality.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment (CI/CD), and maintenance.
- Develop comprehensive system documentation using UML diagrams and participate in system design discussions for scalable distributed computing solutions.
Skills
- Extensive experience with software engineering principles including object-oriented programming (OOP), application design, and system architecture.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, and SQL dialects like T-SQL or PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with front-end development frameworks including React.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS3, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON/XML for web development projects.
- Expertise in developing scalable APIs using RESTful API standards or SOAP-based web services; familiarity with WCF is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with container orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes for cloud infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SVN (Subversion), along with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration/deployment.
- Ability to implement multithreading techniques for performance optimization in distributed systems; experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with system design principles for high availability and scalability; experience with UML modeling is advantageous.
- Strong debugging skills combined with proficiency in shell scripting (Bash), shell scripting languages (PowerShell), and automation tools for efficient development workflows.

Pay: $118,583.90 - $220,000.00 per year
