About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our outpatient pediatric practice. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, family-centered office environment while supporting providers and ensuring excellent patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
Assist pediatric providers during office visits and procedures
Perform patient intake, vital signs, and developmental screenings
Administer immunizations and medications per protocol
Provide patient and parent education on treatments, medications, and preventive care
Manage phone triage, medication refills, and patient follow-ups
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared for patient care
Adheres to OSHA Safety Standards
Maintains confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by managers, supervisors, and/or physicians and as dictated by the needs of the practice.
Minimum Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Demonstrated experience or clinical training in pediatric nursing.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Experience working in pediatric hospital units, clinics, or community health settings.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
