Financial Controller - (ONSITE)
Full-Time | Onsite | Auburn Hills, MI | M-F 7:30am-4:30pm
HERCO is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for our growing project-based manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, WIP tracking, progressive invoicing, percentage-of-completion accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close.

Monitor project profitability, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition.

Oversee progressive invoicing, overbillings, and underbillings.

Manage cash flow, AR, working capital, and budgeting processes.

Support strategic planning through financial analysis and forecasting.

Maintain GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Supervise and develop accounting staff.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA preferred.

7-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.

Experience with WIP accounting, project accounting, and progressive billing.

ERP experience (SAP B1 preferred).

Strong Excel, analytical, and leadership skills.
Salary: $115,000+ Pay will be competitive and commensurate with level of experience.
