We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, casual dining, and customer service. As a Assistant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff, budgets, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.

Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.

Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.

Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize resources.

Train and mentor staff in service excellence, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during shifts.

Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events such as banquets and catering services.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably as an Assistant Manager or similar position.

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and safety protocols.

Experience with cash handling and financial management practices.

Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
