Work Now Staffing is looking for a Logistics Supervisor for our valued client in York. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!
Shift: 3:00pm -12:30am, Wednesday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday (or when shift ends, will need to stay late when needed). This is a salary position which will require working 45 hours per week.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Job Duties:
- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
- Communicating with dispatch and inhouse customer service to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of warehouse lead or supervisor experience
- Strong working knowledge of the equipment listed above (one or more)
- Solid mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure
- Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, when required
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
