General Renovation Worker
Position: General Renovation Worker
Focus: Painting, Surface Installation, and Trim Work
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Renovation Worker to join our renovation team. This position will focus primarily on painting, surface laying/installation, and trim work, with additional general renovation duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, paint, and touch up interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform surface installation and finishing work
- Install and finish baseboards, molding, trim, and other detail work
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Assist with general renovation and remodeling tasks
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Properly use and maintain hand tools and basic job-site equipment
- Follow instructions and complete work efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in painting, renovation, construction, trim work, or related work
- Reliable transportation or a dependable way to commute to job sites
- Ability to carry and handle basic tools and materials
- Comfortable performing physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working on ladders
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred Skills
- Strong painting and surface-preparation skills
- Experience installing baseboards, molding, casing, or other trim
- Experience with flooring or other surface installation
- Familiarity with common renovation tools and equipment
