We are excited to announce an opportunity for a
Test Engineer to join our dedicated team in supporting a vital U.S. Government customer. In this role, you will play a key part in providing onsite incident response to civilian government agencies and critical asset owners facing cyber-attacks. Your expertise will help ensure immediate investigation and resolution of these incidents, making a real difference in our customers' operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, plan, and execute test assignments for large-scale and complex software and hardware systems, ensuring mission readiness.
- Establish both automated and manual testing methods; develop comprehensive test plans, requirements, procedures, and reports while conducting thorough tests.
- Actively participate in test readiness reviews and design reviews to ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Leverage your software development experience to validate test integrity, quality, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define language, database, and computer requirements, as well as configuration management techniques.
- Implement state-of-the-art test planning and execution using modern technologies and frameworks, such as SAFe or similar methodologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports, to support ongoing project success.
- Analyze test results and effectively communicate findings with management and project teams.
- Keep program management informed of any deviations from customer requirements to ensure transparency and alignment.

Requirements:
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- 6+ years of directly relevant experience, ideally in an agile environment
- 2+ years of automated and/or manual test experience
- Excellent and applicable experience with Agile Continuous Development / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery along with hands-on experience with automated test tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Rational Team Concert, JIRA, Git, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter, RSpec, Cucumber, and other industry-leading tools and techniques
- 2+ years’ experience developing software with Java, Cucumber, Gherkin or similar language in an agile environment
- Experience with requirements development and management along with associated
- Ability to plan, conduct and conduct security testing
- Meaningful and relevant experience in developing test procedures
- Experience with systems engineering and configuration management processes
- Able to generate test-related documentation as necessary
- Excellent teamwork skills including ability to work well with agile development teams, customers, and coworkers at all levels
- Ability to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locations
Desired Skills:
- Experience with automated and manual testing processes
- Hands-on DevOps or DevSecOps experience
- Familiarity with following CISA practices:
o Securing the Software Supply Chain
o Cybersecurity Best Practices
o Open-Source Software Security
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-218, Secure Software Development Framework V1.1: Recommendations for Mitigating the Risk of Software Vulnerabilities
- Hands on experience with automated testing solutions such as: Selenium, Puppeteer, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Playwright, Cucumber or NightWatchJS.
- Manual and Automated Testing experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following program languages: Java, Perl, Ruby, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JBDC, NOSQL
- DHS experience
Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related discipline, or HS diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience.
Desired Certifications:
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II
- Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) or similar
- Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- AWS Certifications
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
