Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements to optimize flow and wait times
- Handle restaurant reservation management using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service and guest needs
- Manage guest inquiries via phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Assist with food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness standards are upheld in all guest areas
- Use POS systems to process orders accurately, including food and beverage transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support guest services by addressing special requests, resolving concerns promptly, and enhancing overall guest relations
Experience
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with restaurant reservation management systems and POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone
- Experience in restaurant table management and guest relations within hospitality settings is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
