Overview
PLEASE READ BEFORE REPLYING: We are seeking a part-/full-time pool service tech having 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST have (we can't train at this time). Knowledge of repairs are a plus. We are offering a sign-on bonus of $2K (1st $1000 after 1.5 months of employment and the 2nd bonus of $1000 given after the 3 month employment date). This is a W2 or 1099 employee position, Mon - Fri and some Saturdays. Must be able to lift 45 - 95 lbs and don't mind getting dirty and working in the elements of the sun, rain, heat and all the elements of mother nature. Must be able to sit and stand long periods of time, kneeling, bending, twisting, and balancing at times. The ideal candidate will have a strong working mindset, eager to learn and to work as a team player, and able to take criticism when given as we are open to your ideas and suggestions to help improve the position.
Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively
- Diagnose issues with pool equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements if experienced
- Plumbing and Repairs are a plus
- Lifting from 45 lbs to 75 lbs
- Will be required to dig trenches and move heavy equipment at times.
- May be asked to dip in a pool or two.
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to use your own phone with reliable cell service for Pool App logging w/reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool on app.
- Communicate with Supervisor regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and any recommended repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- Experience of 2+ years of Pool Service
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as Supervisor
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Background check will be required
