American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow Unit night shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow Unit (CPPU Overflow Unit) within a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Active AL or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending or temporary licenses accepted

No hits (past or current) on nursing license

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration

Full SSN required for consideration

EMR system is Meditech; prior experience not required

Timekeeping system is Centricity

Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules; no pre-start HealthStream modules required
