<Duties>
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Perform routine maintenance including engine tune-ups, fluid changes, and system inspections to keep vessels operating smoothly
- Repair or replace mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Certifications are a plus
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to boat owners
<Requirements>
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in marine or heavy equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits with ohmmeters and soldering electrical components
- Familiarity with rigging procedures on boats or similar structures
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, calipers, heavy lifting equipment, and precision measuring instruments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Military background or technical training in related fields is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working in various environmental warm conditions
