Treasure Coast Lexus is seeking an Automotive Technology Specialist. As technology becomes more advanced and more complex, it has the potential to build vehicle value or confuse and frustrate guests. To maximize that value and to launch a rewarding ownership experience for our guests, the Technology Demonstration Specialist provides hands-on training on vehicle features and benefits such as Bluetooth pairing, personalized settings and navigation.
Technology Demonstration Specialist will:
· Meet and greet guest
· Assist guest with vehicle technology
· Perform professional and knowledgeable demonstration of vehicle at time of sale and post-delivery refresh
· Arrange and perform active vehicle deliveries offsite
· Program personalized settings prior to customer delivery
· Assess customer knowledge and priorities to personalize each delivery
· Service duties: assist clients with tech and feature questions, assist with service guest overflow
· Clearly and concisely consult with guest in person, virtually, and by phone
· Follow up with guest after delivery to answer any outstanding questions or conduct a second delivery if needed/requested
· Address and resolve customer inquiries/concerns pertaining to vehicle technology issues
· Deliver a world-class experience each and every time
Qualifications:
· Ability to provide exceptional guest service with good listening skills and a positive attitude
· Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
· Ability to learn, retain, and articulate new information
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere, as a self-starter and critical thinker in a team environment
· Must be comfortable communicating with customers, both written and verbally on all platforms, i.e. phone/text/email/video
· Well-groomed appearance
· Minimum high school diploma or GED
· Clean driving record
· Willingness to submit, and pass, a pre-employment drug screen and background check
· Knowledge of new technology and/or electronics is a plus
· Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
· Customer service experience is a plus
