Turn Play into Progress: Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Inclusion ABA!
We are looking for a PART-TIME RBT for the Conroe, TX Area (In home position)!
At Inclusion ABA, we are changing the narrative. We practice “Compassionate Autonomy.” We believe learning is something done with the learner, not to the learner. We don’t demand compliance; we cultivate connection. If you’re tired of "old school" approaches that prioritize table work over trust, you’ve found your home.
We turn "I can’t" into "I just did!" If you’re ready to trade a boring desk job for a career where you move, play, and witness life-changing breakthroughs every single day, let’s talk.
Why You’ll Love This Team
- The Impact: You aren't just "collecting data"—you’re giving a child the tools to communicate, make friends, and gain independence.
- No Experience? No Problem: We provide the roadmap. Our comprehensive training helps you earn your RBT credential and turns your passion into professional expertise.
- The "Vibe": We are a supportive, collaborative team. You’ll work closely with a Program Supervisor (BCBA) who has your back. We believe in family, growth, and the idea that there are no "mistakes," only new ways to learn.
- Ditch the Table: You’ll spend 90% of your time on the floor. If a learner loves trains, you’re teaching colors and social "high-fives" using trains, not flashcards.
Your Daily Adventure
- One-on-One Connection: Deliver personalized support home and out in the community.
- Creative Learning: Use play to facilitate essential life skills. You’ll be part teacher, part playmate, and part "MacGyver"—turning a tissue box and a spoon into a drum set to capture a learner’s interest.
- The Safe Harbor: When a learner has a hard time, you are their "safe harbor," not their warden. You prioritize safety and co-regulation over finishing a data sheet.
- Data Hero: Track progress and celebrate the wins (big and small) with your team.
This Job IS For You If:
- You have "The Instincts": You know that a child acting out is usually a child who is struggling, not a child who is "being bad."
- You Honor the "No": You view refusal as communication and can pivot your strategy the moment you spot discomfort.
- You are Humble: You’re willing to look silly, make funny noises, and crawl on the floor to make a child smile.
- You are Protective: You understand safety is about positioning and keeping your cool, not restraint.
- You Bring the Energy: You can keep up with a kiddo on the move and stay positive when things get challenging.
⚠️
This might NOT be for you if: You prefer a quiet desk job, believe children should "do as they are told," or think a child must "earn" their right to a break.
The Perks
- Earn While You Learn: Competitive pay of $15.00 – $20.00/hr once certified.
- Rest & Recharge: Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Holidays.
- Future-Proofing: 401(k) options, Dental, Vision, and professional development to help you climb the career ladder.
- Support: Limited health insurance plans and a team that actually cares about your well-being.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Basics: 18+ years old with a High School Diploma/GED.
- Reliability: Our learners depend on consistency; showing up is the first step to success. Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel to and from client home.
- Integrity: You handle sensitive info with care, build trust with families, and can pass a background check.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30+ lbs and transition quickly from sitting to standing/running.
- Mobility: A smartphone and reliable transportation (license/insurance).
