Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, patient and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and experience operating various types of commercial vehicles. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents and maintaining vehicle integrity while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all upkeep and maintenance of bus, including interior cleaning.
- Inspects bus before each trip and fills out appropriate paperwork.
- Activity Director coordinates and provides the monthly bus schedule to drive.
Experience and Requirements
- Previous experience driving bus in St. Louis City and County
- Must have the minimum of CDL- with Class C passenger endorsement
- Must provide a current, non-expired CDL
- Skills and Competencies Required
- Knowledgable of bus operations- lift hatch, wheelchair securement
- Knowledgeable of CPR and First Aid
- Demonstrate knowledgea of transportation policy andtions safety
- Must have ability to work well and demonstrate patiene with senior adults
- Must be flexible and personable
- Must exhibit willingness to help residents with their packages
- Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Must be able to perform the essential physical/mental functions/requirements of the position
