Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Serve drinks and food efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to safety standards
- Process card transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and handling tips
- Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, following food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to process sales efficiently
- Cocktail experience, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and food handling certifications are desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required certifications prior to employment
- Hospitality or guest services background with experience in serving or bartending roles is beneficial
