MUST HAVE A TRACTOR. This is a straightforward contract. M-F. No missed days. 5-9 hours of work depending on which location you are given.
Work starts at Waco VA. Hook and take clean trailer to the other VAs then drop them. Then hook up to their soiled trailer and bring back to the Waco VA. That’s the end of the day.
Kerrville VA: $600/day total of 405 miles
Dallas VA: $400/day total of 190 miles
there will be preferential consideration for drivers that have trucks and at least two drivers.
M-F with no exception. if you need to miss then a backup driver is needed.
I’m looking for two owner operators that have their own trucks and preferably a trailer. If you don’t have the trailer, it’s not necessarily a problem. I already have the means and the ability to get the required trailers to complete the scope of work. This is a Monday through Friday contract week in and week out. Off every weekend and federal holidays. The only exceptions will be emergency runs for the VA, which are rare. For instance, the last years contract only had two emergency runs the whole year.

Period of Performance:
This will be a 1-year base period with four additional 1-year optional renewal periods beginning
07/01/2026.
All deliveries (hook and drops) will start from Doris Miller VA Medical Center, Laundry Building
226, and all soiled clothes/linen will be returned to Doris Miller VA Medical Center, Laundry
Building 226.
- Deliveries will be done every day, Monday – Friday, specified times below:
- Contractor will be transporting approximately 10 to 32 laundry carts which consists of microfiber -
rags and mop heads, operating room linen, fitted and flat sheets, pillowcases, blankets, bath
towels, and wash cloths. Laundry weighs between 300Ibs to 850Ibs depending on whether laundry
is cleaned or soiled.
- Contractor will provide at least two (2) drivers (one per location), two (2) delivery diesel power
trucks (one per location), Monday – Friday, to haul trailers with sterile and soiled laundry.
Note: If a truck breaks down, contractor must replace truck to still make the delivery. If the driver is sick and cannot make the delivery, contractor must provide a backup driver to make the delivery.

Dallas VA Medical Center
1. Dallas VA Medical Center 4500, Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216
a. Delivery Services will be done every day, Monday – Friday excluding holidays.
b. Delivery Hours of Operations:
- Earliest time for pickup of Sterile Laundry – 10:30 am
- Latest delivery time for Soiled Laundry – 4:30 pm
2. Approximate travel time is 3.5 hours.
3. Total mileage per day is approximately 188 miles round trip.
Kerrville VA Medical Center
1. Kerrville VA Medical Center 3600 Memorial Blvd., Kerrville, Texas 78028
a. Delivery Services will be done every day, Monday – Friday excluding holidays.
b. Delivery Hours of Operations:
- Earliest time for pickup of Sterile Laundry – 5:00 am
- Latest delivery time for Soiled Laundry – 1:30 pm
2. Approximate travel time is 8 hours.
3 Total mileage per day is approximately 406 miles round trip.
Note: Contractor might have to make an Emergency Saturday delivery when deemed necessary by the VA with a 24-hour response time for delivery. Up to two emergency Saturday events are
