Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Manager to lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced, quick service and casual dining environment. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, manage staff performance, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high food quality
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure safety and consistency
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with ordering to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing fast food or quick service restaurant operations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
- Background in food service management with a focus on inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices
- Ability to oversee kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
- Skilled in interviewing, training & development of staff, as well as shift management responsibilities
- Familiarity with culinary techniques from casual dining or fine dining environments; experience with catering or banquet services is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
