- A proven ability to complete homes in 90 days or less from lumber drop while maintaining Newcastle Homes' quality standards.
- Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with homeowners, trade partners, sales professionals, and fellow team members.
- Pride in maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- A professional appearance with a clean, organized work truck that reflects pride in your work.
- The ability to solve problems quickly, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A self-motivated leader who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete construction process from a dirt lot through the successful closing of each home.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all subcontractors to maintain aggressive production schedules.
- Deliver homes that consistently meet or exceed Newcastle Homes' quality expectations.
- Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, organization, and superior workmanship.
- Complete homes within the company's 90-day build schedule from lumber drop while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.
- Communicate proactively with homeowners throughout the construction process to provide a first-class customer experience.
- Hold subcontractors accountable for workmanship, schedules, professionalism, safety, and job site cleanliness.
- Ensure every home is inspection-ready, homeowner orientation-ready, and closing-ready with minimal punch work.
- Maintain accurate schedules, construction documentation, and daily progress updates.
- Take complete ownership of your communities by maintaining clean, organized neighborhoods and ensuring every home reflects the pride and quality of the Newcastle Homes brand.
- Represent Newcastle Homes professionally in every interaction while protecting and enhancing the company's reputation.
Qualifications
Residential construction superintendent or builder experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple homes simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to lead subcontractors and hold them accountable to company standards.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Comfortable using mobile technology and construction management software.
