We are looking for a Junior Construction Estimator with experience, excellent communication, proficient in the use of technology, AI Platforms and highly organized.
The estimator will work with our current and potential clients to procure, bid, and implement designs on both the cost and project sides. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction project coordination/management or similar, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
Requirements
· Review, evaluate and estimate cost of labor, materials, and equipment needed for assigned projects.
· Communicate with clients, subcontractors and team members regarding new and current projects.
· Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products.
· Ensure timely completion of estimates.
· Understand scope of work to bid.
· Manage bid pricing from all vendors.
· Prepare cost analysis.
· Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
· Must be able to manage and work with our sales account managers.
- Understands construction plans and blueprints
- AI-assisted spreadsheet generation
- Ability to use AI tools to create, organize, and analyze
- Create and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel or similar applications to track estimates, pricing, materials, vendors, and project information.
Responsibilities
· 2+ years’ experience in construction estimating.
· Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
· Understanding of commercial estimating processes.
· Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
· Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:
Required:
· High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence.
· MUST have a current driver’s license.
Substitution:
· Education/training can be substituted for previous work experience.
Preferred:
· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) but NOT required.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
