Desired Qualifications
M.M. in Music- piano performance or collaborative piano: performance experience in a wide variety of musical styles; excellent sight-reading skills are required.
Position Purpose
The music department has a 19 hour (weekly) cap on casual staff (accompanist). Due to the influx of students in our program, our current staffing cannot meet the needs for our students are we require and additional accompanist to cover all assignments in applied music.
Job Duties
Provide appropriate piano accompaniment for voice and/or instrumental classes, studios and recitals. Other job assignments might include accompanying for auditions, recordings, ensembles and juries. Some nights and weekend work is required.
