Job Title: Audiovisual Technician – Live Events (Rental Department)

About Us
Kent Audio Visual is Wichita’s go-to provider for live event AV, rentals, and production support. We serve theaters, conferences, concerts, and community events with professionalism, creativity, and a passion for great gear. We’re looking for an adaptable, hands-on AV Technician to join our rentals crew and help bring events to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with and independently run live shows (audio, lighting, video depending on experience)
- Prep, restock, and maintain gear in our warehouse
- Help load and unload trucks for events
- Troubleshoot issues in real time with calm, creative thinking
- Work in a flexible, fast-paced environment — evenings/weekends as needed
- Support the community and team — and yes, we have a roller grill
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with baseline AV experience (audio, lighting, video, or stagehand work)
- Comfortable coiling cable, lifting gear, and staying organized
- A team player who works best with clear direction, but is open to helping improve systems
- Willingness to learn and support others across departments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
