Job Summary
The shift will be : 11:30 am-4:30 pm and also cover classrooms for off days and vacations.
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Part-Time Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential support across multiple classrooms and age groups, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Your adaptability and proactive approach will help maintain smooth daily operations, allowing our dedicated educators to focus on delivering high-quality care and instruction. Duties
- Assist in supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and engagement
- Support classroom teachers by helping with lesson implementation, setup, and cleanup tasks
- Provide responsive care tailored to the needs of children with varying abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, concerns, or questions about their child's progress
- Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting appropriately
- Support early childhood development through age-appropriate activities focused on social-emotional growth, motor skills, and cognitive development
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training encouraged
- Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility across various classroom assignments
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team coordination
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports children’s individual needs and promotes positive behavior

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
