Job description:
Join our well-rounded and amazing team and be trained at CBCT operation, ITERO scanning, pediatric and adult sedation, OR assisting, pediatric assisting and implant placement assisting.
Candidates with at least 1 year experience may apply. Previous experience in assisting both Pediatric and General Dentistry will give you the edge.
Description of responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatment
- Chairside assisting in a variety of dental procedures
- Records patient information including vital signs, medical/dental history, treatment plan
- Take radiographs, scans and intra-oral pictures
- Provide pre-operative and post operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning and restocking.
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPAA
- Maintain dental supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Required certifications and skills:
· Valid RDA license
· Valid X-ray Certificate
· Basic Life Support (BLS)
· Nitrous Monitoring certification is a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Bilingual English and Spanish
