Duties
- Lead and supervise nursing staff during your shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to inform individualized care strategies.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations with precision and attention to safety protocols.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems; document all patient interactions thoroughly.
- Oversee infection control practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support discharge planning, case management activities, and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with current state certification.
- Proven experience in long-term care or assisted living is highly desirable.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or behavioral health needs.
- Ability to perform complex patient assessments, tube feeding management, airway management, sterile techniques such as suturing or phlebotomy.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
