Certified Equipment Service is an established, family owned and operated company looking to hire an experienced field service technician to perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will support our mission of building strong customer relationships through professionalism, clear communication and technical expertise.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment issues
- Analyze failures and determine effective repair solutions
- Perform planned maintenance on equipment and recommend proactive repairs
- Ensure all safety items on each piece of equipment are properly maintained and functional
- Keep paperwork and proper records of each job
- Maintain your service vehicle and its inventory
Qualifications
- Good driving record and a valid drivers license is required
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read and understand schematics
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and internal combustion systems
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks and material handling equipment
- Technical degree, previous lift truck/material handling repair, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
