We are looking for an LPN with availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays for dayshifts or overnight shifts (each week or every other week). This could be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to supplement their income or only work one or two shifts each week.
Our nurses are part of a professional team made up of direct support staff and board certified behavioral analysts (BCBA) supporting a pleasant, young man with intellectual disability and autism who has a GJ feeding tube.
Working together, the goal of the entire team is that they provide the support necessary so the individual can live an Everyday Life.
We are currently accepting applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
New graduates are welcome to apply.
We will provide training including the use of a G-J tube.
The location is in a nice development in Sinking Spring with plenty of parking.
-Current Pennsylvania LPN license is required.
-Up-to-date CPR-BLS certification and Clearances required
-Physical and TB required upon hire or one that was completed within the last 12 months.
-Experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability is a plus, as a nurse or in another capacity.
-Must enjoy being physically active and community outings (applies to day shift).
-Must be willing to follow protocols, procedures, and behavioral plan that is in place
There could be opportunities for additional hours and overtime wages to help cover for vacations, PTO, etc. for other team members if your schedule would allow.
