Overview
Sellers seeking an all around Equipment operator who is ready to step in to a Foreman role! We need a lead to oversee mining and grading operations on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that excavation, grading, pipe fusing, pump work, and site preparation activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. Join our team to drive successful project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Position works under project manager.
Duties
- Supervise daily mining and grading activities, coordinating crews to ensure timely completion tasks
- Manage and review construction drawings, technical plans, and blueprints to verify project requirements and specs
- Ensure compliance with MSHA and OSHA rules
- Manage crew performance through effective communication, training, and supervision to foster a productive work environment
Skills
- Experience with various pieces of heavy equipment.
- Committed Foreman to put the time in to do the job correct, the first time.
- Must be able to communicate with management, customers and employees.
- Skilled in interpreting drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for mining and grading operations
- Excellent project scheduling abilities to keep abilities on with experience managing construction schedules
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment
