Summary:
The Export Coordinator manages the end-to-end container dispatch and loading process, ensuring customer requirements are met with accuracy and efficiency. This role oversees load planning, HazMat compliance, and communication between customers, warehouse teams, and carriers to ensure smooth export operations.
What You'll Do:
- Dispatch empty containers and create load plans in CMS per customer specifications.
- Note loading restrictions and flag HazMat paperwork to determine placard requirements.
- Communicate load plan discrepancies and warehouse-reported damages to customers, coordinating acceptance or rejection decisions.
- Prepare and distribute driver’s paperwork with finalized load plans; issue warehouse work orders as needed.
- Maintain up-to-sate spreadsheets and respond promptly to customer emails and calls.
- Send final load plans to customers and notify truckers of any loading issues.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and work rules.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- 3 years of customer service experience preferred
- Must communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees
- Ability to solve problems, multitask and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong data entry skills are required, with attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Teams)
Compensation & Benefits Information:
- Hourly Range: $15.82 - $19.00
