We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and payments are made in a timely manner. Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment inquiries
Maintain organized accounts payable files and documentation
Assist with month-end closing activities
Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed
Maintain confidentiality of financial information
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
