Sirius Staffing is seeking a Process Engineer to establish, standardize, and continuously improve manufacturing and engineering processes across its operations. This role brings together process control, Lean manufacturing, equipment engineering, facility projects, project management, safety, and technical-team leadership.
The successful candidate will use structured problem-solving and data-driven analysis to improve efficiency, product quality, productivity, safety, and operational performance. This individual will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and other cross-functional teams to execute projects, support manufacturing expansion, and advance best-practice adoption across sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish, document, maintain, and govern baseline manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Drive standard work, process controls, and best-practice adoption across manufacturing sites.
- Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives, including:
- Kaizen
- Waste reduction
- Flow optimization
- Productivity improvements
- Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and implement measurable process, quality, and efficiency enhancements.
- Design and develop manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, and 2D/3D layouts.
- Lead equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and related acceptance-test procedures.
- Support full lifecycle greenfield facility builds, including:
- Layout design
- Equipment planning
- Production ramp-up
- Operational readiness
- Drive upgrades, expansions, and process improvements within existing brownfield operations.
- Develop and execute project plans, managing:
- Scope
- Timelines
- Budgets
- Resources
- Risks
- Deliverables
- Coordinate activities among Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, environmental regulations, and corporate safety standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture through risk identification, mitigation planning, and effective operational controls.
- Lead and develop engineers and technical professionals through:
- Coaching
- Performance management
- Talent development
- Succession planning
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations, process control, or related engineering functions.
- Experience implementing standard work, manufacturing processes, or operating procedures.
- Experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Experience with equipment engineering, tooling, automation, installation, commissioning, or manufacturing implementation.
- Experience developing and executing project plans in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional activities and managing competing priorities.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, environmental and safety standards, risk mitigation, and safety culture practices.
- Experience coaching technical team members or leading engineering projects.
- Ability to use data-driven analysis to evaluate performance and support operational improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with greenfield facility builds and brownfield expansions or upgrades.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, production planning, workflow design, statistical analysis, quality control, and cost-reduction strategies.
- Experience optimizing manufacturing workflows, equipment utilization, process capability, and operational performance.
- Experience with 2D/3D manufacturing layouts and tooling design.
- Familiarity with FAT, SAT, and other formal equipment acceptance procedures.
- Experience with talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Strong understanding of Lean principles, Kaizen methodology, and waste-elimination techniques.
