CDL-A Equipment Operator
$30 - $40/hour | Hibbing/Virginia, MN | Hiring Immediately
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL-A Equipment Operator for a local company working primarily at industrial and mine sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working outdoors, and taking on a variety of hands-on responsibilities.
This position is full-time and offers a 4 day work week with potential for overtime based on workload. We are looking for highly motivated and dependable workers.
Responsibilities

Operate tractors, tracked vehicles, hydroseeders, and other equipment

Transport equipment between mine sites using a Class A CDL

Occasionally haul hay bales or pick up materials and supplies from vendors
-
Assist the foreman with daily projects and jobsite priorities
-
Communicate with customers regarding project needs and timelines
-
Coordinate with vendors, farmers, fertilizer suppliers, hay haulers, and others to help ensure materials and resources are available when needed

Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs when able

Maintain a strong focus on safe equipment operation and jobsite practices
Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL required

Ability to complete MSHA training

Experience operating tractors, tracked equipment, or similar machinery preferred

Strong commitment to safety

Dependable, organized, and able to work independently

Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and coworkers

Mechanical aptitude or basic equipment repair skills are a plus

Ability to adapt to changing projects and priorities
