Position: Electrical Source Inspector
Duration: 3 month contract

Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of electro-mechanical parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to verify dimensional accuracy and mechanical integrity.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards in production.
- Collect data during inspections, document findings accurately, and report non-conformances for corrective action.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing inspection data and participating in root cause analysis for quality issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection within manufacturing environments, especially with electro-mechanical components or assemblies.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Proficiency with measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, vision systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for identifying defects or deviations.
- Basic math skills necessary for dimensional measurements and data collection.
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and work effectively within quality management systems (QMS).
- IPC-A-610 certification with Space Adendum
- Experience performing First Article Inpsections to AS9102
- Experience with MIL-STD-105
- Strong computer skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

License/Certification:
- IPC-610 Certification (Preferred)
